Metal Bernard Inc. and CDMB are both sheet metal transformation service corporations. Since its inception, Metal Bernard Inc. has built a solid reputation in the transport industry for parts and components manufacturing. Metal Bernard Inc. is able to manufacture a wide range of components of varying forms (round, rectangular, square), in various materials (primarily steel, aluminum and stainless steel) of thicknesses less than an inch.
Laser cutting is an important part of company sales. The growing trend towards multiple operations in a short delay has led us to diversify our processes. This is why bending, CNC punching and cutting are an important share of our business. Keeping to our origins, welding and assembling are still an integral part of our operations.
Through the acquisition of the water jet cutting center, CDMB can cut a range of materials up to 6 inches in thickness. The water jet can cut all types of plastics, composite materials, thick aluminum, glass and stone. This precision cutting system can significantly reduce machining costs, and, since it is a cold-cutting system, metals don’t require the same dipping process as with flame and plasma cutting.
Other equally important activities include computer-assisted design, rolling, packaging and delivery. Our diversified clientele has brought on new challenges in the pulp and paper, environment, energy, timber equipment, didactical equipment, specialized furnace and automotive sectors.
